This award winning Cicada chair is designed with AI

Drawing design inspiration from nature isn’t that uncommon, but automatically generating design from nature is.

This Cicado chair from Tao is made from that exact process.

Mitya Belkin studied the patterns generated from the wings of a Cicada, and trained  AI to recreate a similar pattern for the back of this chair.

Not only is it designed for comfort in mind, they look amazing as well.
